Topanga, a Los Angeles-based foodservice technology company founded in 2021, upgraded their identity to align with their revolutionary waste prevention technologies. Trusted by over 90 dining programs in the US and backed by an $8 million Series A funding round, Topanga aims to transform the $27 billion food waste and packaging problem through their innovative sustainable models.
Topanga’s products are designed to streamline waste reduction processes, allowing the professionals to do what they do best. The Topanga team came to us looking for a fresh identity to better reflect their position in an ever-changing food-service industry - a focus on new technologies that work hand-in-hand with the true kitchen experts.
Working closely with Topanga’s product and marketing teams, we created a new identity to reflect the intelligence behind Topanga’s products. An updated, more flexible colour palette gave a nod to Topanga’s roots, whilst setting them apart in the industry. New visuals unified their product suite, making complex workflows easy to understand. We also created a set of graphic expressions to bring AI thinking to life, offering the brain behind the product its own identity.
