Why is everybody talking about ChatGPT? ✍️

In a 1950s research paper, Alan Turin (often proclaimed the father of modern computer science) was looking to answer the question, “can machines think?”.

After much deliberation, he suggested, “a computer would deserve to be called intelligent if it could deceive a human into believing that it was human.”

Well ChatGPT, the latest project from OpenAI, has fooled several of us at the studio since it burst into the creative conscience last month.

But does that mean we should all pack our bags, go home and wait for the robots to do their worst with us?
